Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the ZACIO Limited website and services. By accessing or using our Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About ZACIO Limited
ZACIO Limited is a boutique cultural marketing and events company incorporated and based in Dublin, Ireland (“ZACIO Limited”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We produce immersive cultural experiences for the African diaspora and global communities, and operate the website at www.zacio.ie together with associated digital services (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase tickets.
- For events with a minimum age requirement, that requirement applies at the door regardless of ticket purchase. Valid photo ID may be required for entry.
- By using the Services you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at hello@zacio.ie if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
- Authentication is handled by Clerk. By creating an account you also agree to Clerk's Terms of Service.
- We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice where the violation is serious.
4. Events & tickets
Purchasing tickets
- Event tickets are sold through Eventbrite. By purchasing you also agree to Eventbrite's Terms of Service. ZACIO Limited is not responsible for Eventbrite's platform, payment processing, or payment disputes.
- All ticket prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable booking fees.
- A booking confirmation will be sent to your registered email address.
Admission & entry
- Tickets are personal to the named holder and are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise on the event listing.
- Valid photo ID may be required for entry to age-restricted events.
- ZACIO Limited and venue staff reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person who behaves in a manner that is threatening, abusive, or disruptive.
- Prohibited items (including any items outlined in the venue's policy) may not be brought into events.
Cancellations & rescheduling
- ZACIO Limited reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to venue issues, safety concerns, force majeure events, or government restrictions).
- Affected ticket holders will be notified by email as soon as practicable.
- In the event of a cancellation by ZACIO Limited, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund of the face value of the ticket. Booking fees charged by Eventbrite are subject to Eventbrite's own refund policy.
- In the event of rescheduling, your ticket will be valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement.
Refunds
- Refund eligibility for voluntary cancellations is communicated on the individual event listing at time of purchase.
- Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to event tickets once the event is booked for a specific date.
- Refund requests must be submitted via our support form or by emailing hello@zacio.ie.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of any third party
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services, server, or database
- Introduce any malicious code, virus, or other harmful material
- Systematically scrape, harvest, or collect data from the site without our express written consent
- Harass, intimidate, or threaten other users or ZACIO Limited personnel
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, logos, video, audio, event branding, and software — is owned by or licensed to ZACIO Limited and is protected by Irish and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include the right to:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content
- Modify or create derivative works based on our content
- Use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
Any unauthorised use terminates the licence granted herein and may give rise to a claim for damages.
7. User content
Where you submit content to us (including support messages, feedback, or event reviews), you grant ZACIO Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.
You warrant that any content you submit does not infringe any third-party rights and does not contain anything unlawful, defamatory, or offensive. We reserve the right to remove any content that breaches these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
- The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
- Event details (including lineups, timings, and venues) are subject to change. We will endeavour to communicate changes promptly but cannot guarantee advance notice in all circumstances.
- Third-party services integrated into the platform (Eventbrite, Clerk, Intercom) operate under their own terms and we make no warranties regarding their availability or performance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZACIO Limited, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages arising from your inability to access or use the Services
- Damages arising from any third-party content or conduct
- Personal injury or property damage arising at an event, except where caused by our negligence
Where liability cannot be excluded by law (including under the Irish Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive), our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant ticket or service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZACIO Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Privacy & cookies
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services you confirm you have read and understood those policies.
12. Third-party links & services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites and integrate third-party services (such as Eventbrite for ticketing). These are provided for convenience only. We have no control over third-party content or practices and accept no responsibility for them. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version. For material changes we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Termination & account deletion
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.
You may delete your account at any time using either of the following methods:
- Self-service: Go to Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone and click Delete My Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your profile, support history, and login credentials.
- Email: Send a request to hello@zacio.ie — we will process it within 30 days.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to termination, including obligations relating to tickets already purchased. Financial transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years to meet legal obligations.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law (including the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence).

16. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ZACIO Limited regarding the Services.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights to any successor entity.
- Language: These Terms are written in English. In the event of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
